Hi Sarah,
Sorry it's been so long since I've taken your class. Before break I was off for a while because of hip problems and these past couple weeks I've had physical therapy at the same time as class. I'm going to try to come next Monday, though!

I was just wondering if you talked to Stephanie about this Sunday and if that still works for you. If you are busy I would be happy to email her, so just let me know! Thanks!
Hi Sarah,
I am so so so so so (etc.) sorry that I havn't been taking class. I havn't been there during Momenta season because Valeri wanted me to take his class, last week I wasn't there because of Orchesis, and today I couldn't make it because of school work. I really hope that you aren't too angry with me. I would also like to continue privates with you and since Momenta is over maybe we could discuss picking them up again. I'm sorry I havn't messaged you any sooner I've just been having some trouble with school and I've needed to sort of gather myself and I've been really busy. Talk to you soon!

Hi Sarah! I talked to you on Monday about privates and I was just wondering if Stephanie said that there would be space for tomorrow if you can still do that. Thanks!
Hi Sarah.
Sorry I wasn't at class on Monday and that I haven't talked to you about what's going on with my foot. I had a really busy week last week. Dr. Ho said that he couldn't find anything wrong with my foot and that I can do everything that I was doing before, but I should stop if something hurts. Today I took ballet barre on pointe and I did jumps, and by the end of class my foot was hurting a little bit, so I think it might just be tendonitis again. Hopefully once MOMENTA is over we can start doing private lessons again.

Sarah! Funny you sent me that message because I was just thinking about coming to this website since I haven't been to it in a while! Anyway, I'm doing well here. I have a job teaching in the upper east side, and I love it! The studio owner is wonderful; she danced with Martha Graham and a flamenco company. The Associate director danced with the Royal Ballet and some Fosse numbers. I have a few K-2 classes, but I mostly teach the "graded ballet" levels ages 10-15. The owner and asst. dir. used to teach these clases on different days, but the owner recently had a baby so they needed someone to take over these classes, and that's me! When she called me to give me the job, I was thinking, Are you sure you didn't confuse my resume with someone else? It's great and pays well, although I only teach 10 hours a week so I'm in the process of looking for a 2nd job.
I just finished a 4- weekend workshop with Kazuko Hirabayashi which served as an audition for a show at the Ailey Theater in February. We'll see what the outcome of that is. I've been to few other auditions as well, but I've mostly been taking class everyday at Peridance, Mark Morris, or DNA. I'm not too crazy about Steps; there are way too many people there. Eventually I'm also going to try Paul Taylor and more Limon classes, but haven't gotten there yet. It's nice to have so many options in the city, but sometimes I miss just coming to Conte's and knowing what to expect.
Anyway, how have you been? I miss you and your class! It was so good to hear from you and I hope all is well!
hey Sarah!! I'm so great, sophomore year is gong so well! I love it, i'm working with a woman from france Merriam Herve-Gill for a faculty piece which is going really well and I'm in a student composition piece for one of my friends. So i'm rehearsing more. The school is also doing Twyla Tharp's "Noir" this semester but after the auditions they mostly took upperclassmen. Other than that, my apartment and roommates are great!! And we're going into NYC more this year which is so great! There are also some great companies coming to Philly this year. Lar Lubovith's company, Inbal Pinto, Batscheva Dance so i'm excited to see all of them! Next Friday Parsons' Dance is coming and i'm taking the master class, so i'm looking forward to that! Everything is so great, i'm really happy! How are you?? whats new? I'll be home at christmas, We're going to WI for Thanksgiving, but I'd love to see you and maybe take a class!! Miss you!

yes, either one of those would work until MOMENTA is done. I have been sometimes going to a class at Chicago Ballet Arts on Tuesdays and a class at Joffrey on Fridays, but because I've been paying by class it doesn't matter if I go every week. Friday is probably better, what is the earliest that you can do?
hi sarah! i was just wondering if and when we are going to start private lessons. they really helped me a lot last year, and i know they will continue to do so. can u do this weekend?
