i also for some reason have really bad toenails that always fall off when i do pointe
and i have popping hips
- About Me:
- I am fifteen years old and a sophomore in high school. I dance at the Academy of Movement and Music with MOMENTA, and I sometimes take classes at Ruth Page, Lou Conte, or Chicago Ballet Arts. I have attended the Joffrey New York Summer Intensive, Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and the Boston Ballet Summer Dance Program.

I LOVE working with you, too! I've been having a really difficult time getting space on the weekends with all of the Momenta rehearsals/workshops/risers, etc......I'm wondering if you'd be open to some alternatives to Sunday afternoons? Would Friday evening ever work for you? Or Tuesday night from 7:45-8:45? I'm sure we could find a Sunday that would work, but probably after Momenta is done...let me know your thoughts, and we will figure this thing out. xoxo

Great to hear from you! It sounds like you are doing very well in Boston. I, too, had a great time spending summer's there. So many talented people everywhere! Class is not the same without you, but I'm so happy that you are pursuing dance so aggressively. It's necessary to your growth-especially to go outside of your comfort zone and explore new places and people. What have some of your biggest challenges been? Who/what has inspired you and why during your time there so far? I'm curious how privates have helped/enhanced your experience. Let me know. I'm looking forward to having you back in the Fall and please be in touch and let me know how things are!

Hanover Park is far away! Wow! No, it's not too late to get into privates. I will offer them on either Saturday afternoons or Sunday afternoons and they are one hour. The cost is $55/hour and the class is customed to fit your individual needs. I think you could really benefit from this kind of attention and I've had great success with many young dancers from the Academy who are now embarking on professional dance careers...When do you want to start and maybe you could connect me with your mom so we can discuss further?
