I love to dance, sing, read, study, and hang out with friends. I have danced for fifteen years at the Academy of Movement and Music. I am also in MOMENTA - the resident dance company of the academy and performed the Nutcracker with Chicago Festival Ballet last year. Two summers ago I toured Austria, Germany, and Italy with Tanzsommer. This last summer I went to the Boston Ballet Summer Dance Program for 5 weeks. I hope to become a professional dancer someday!
Who/What inspires you?
I am inspired by anything and everything, but especially things that are new to me and that are raw with feeling.

Hey. Lucy and I got into Boston so we might go there, but we havn't heard from PNB or Long Beach so we're not sure. but I'm really looking forward to this summer! Have you heard back from any of the places you auditioned for?
Yes, I'm so excited for orchesis. Unfortunatly I didn't make SFB. but you're right it was deffinetly a good audition. and if we had the same teacher he was really good, actually he seemed like a really good dancer too. It was a good audition!
Hi Katy! Check out visceral dance chicago. It's a new dance studio-but I know it's open during the break.
As for summer programs..I loved Boston Ballet!!!I went for two years in a row and learned so much-especially in regards to partnering. San Francisco Ballet has a great program and if you are into a more contemporary experience try the San Fran conservatory. I'm planning on posting a guide to summer programs and what they offer on dancerwellnesss.com very soon and I'll let you know when that goes up! How were your holidays?
