Wow! No more NIU? I understand. I can definitely see you in Northern California. Are you still planning on dancing there? I hope so-it's a great outlet for you. I'd love to see you when you get back into town and I'm sorry I missed your Dad's show last weekend...HOw did it go?
xoxo, Sar

How funny! My room mate is in Belize right now for a yoga seminar.
Anyway...
Traveling is great for photography. The best way to throw yourself into photography is to assist someone, or to just get out there and shoot!
You can learn so much by assisting someone. Get on Craig's list and see who needs an extra hand! You can always come and sit in on any of my shoots as well.
The next headshot i have scheduled is April 17th, but others pop up all the time.

also...it's a really great compliment to dance. you begin to choreograph different scenarios when you take pictures. the best part is that you have dancers around you who are awesome to shoot because they like to move and perform. and what dancer do you know that doesn't want photos of themselves?? it's a win-win situation!

i started photography in 1999. i had back surgery that year, and i had some down time, so i just decided to shoot the shows from the wings, and i've been shooting ever since.
you don't need a fancy camera to start playing around with photography, either! the one thing you will need would be photoshop. it's pretty addicting!!

My Julia-your struggle can be useful in your ability to create, design, and view the world around you. Take it for what it is-a challenge-and make it yours-own in-accept it-change it-embrace it-whatever it takes to make you feel more in touch with yourself and more aware of those around you. I believe in you and love you for you...all parts...sarah

Hello, my dear. I, too, have had a bad couple of weeks...I'm glad you have decided to stick with dance-it's just a part of you...but I just want you to find peace, whatever that means to you. I would love to come and out and teach a class-try setting something up..I know sometimes life feels overwhelming and that only the bad things happen to you-but just think about how strong you are and how you able to see the world and people around you with such love and respect, and fascination. I admire your struggle-it makes you even more beautiful than you already are...love, s

What? It was just a suggestion to go to an audition...you can do whatever you'd like...you are talented and intelligent and if dance does not fit in with your happiness, that is ok. You know I will always support you whatever you choose..as long as it makes you happy...keep me posted
