The 9points technique has been adopted in most contemporary dance companies who have had the pleasure of working on a Forsythe ballet. It's true he gained national recognition choreographing "ballet," but interestingly he is working in a medium now that is pretty much a departure from that. All of his dancers have tremendous foundations in ballet, which creates a dynamic and a vocabulary that is unparalleled..they can do anything. However, what I just saw -his "human rights" installation, was an exercise in live art, participation, and mixed medium...It was fascinating! I'll talk to you soon! Sarah
